My Dad lives in one of the towns where they shot the movie “Twister.” The famous scene from the movie, when Jami Gertz’ character, Melissa, proclaims “We got cows,” was shot very close by.

We got cows.

Sometimes we just like to get in the car and go exploring. At my Dad’s house, that means we’re gonna see a lot of cows.

They’re pretty sci-fi looking. I’m still not used to them.

Cute little house.

We found this little house, where they used tree trunks/branches to build the front porch railings. Neat!

These two have wonky horns. A lot of things can cause that to happen. It could have had to do with temperature, or even accidents when the cows were younger.

I think I need to work on becoming a vegetarian. Sigh… Because really… Are these beautiful creatures any different from a dog or a cat? They’re all amazing.

If I win the lottery, I’d like to buy a farm and just let the animals live out their lives. I’m crossing my fingers.
