It’s been a busy week with school starting, and getting unpacked and cleaned up from our trip.
As I was cleaning, I realized that I didn’t do a summer decorating post this year. So, here it is.
I’ll start in my “Great Room” with the Living Area.
I’m sure it’s pretty similar to last year, and the year before that. I did rearrange a few things.
Just a disclaimer… I took these pictures in the process of cleaning. The house is “as is.” If you see dust, (and you will) so be it.
I worked around multiple piles of various things on the floors, dishes stacked on my kitchen counters, and mail all over the place.
Oh, and my husband’s soccer game, Sigh…
My furbabies can be in the pictures, if they want. They make it cozy.
I don’t even think I added anything new this year. Hmmm??
I put my Byers Choice kids back on the “Fantel” this year. I didn’t like them in the lantern.
The pussy willows and other branches are new from Spring.
OK… I had to add another picture of my little baby.
I added my Civil War Byers Choice Carolers to the Computer Room.
And, I tucked some shells into one of the cubbies on my desk.
Oh… This Victorian, altered art fashion plate isn’t necessarily Summer, but it’s new. I love it.
In the Dining Area, I did get some new things from Pottery Barn and Pier 1 for my summer table.
I bought this platter in the Spring too. I just moved it to its permanent place on the sidebar.
In the kitchen…
Macushla got a new cotton wreath, and I replaced the plates over my sliding glass doors.
Now I have to get back to cleaning. I want a maid. Like that’ll ever happen. Sigh…
