Antique Shopping and Halloween Horror Nights

Before heading out to Oklahoma again, I got in a day of Antique Shopping, and some Halloween fun at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights.

I didn’t find any antiques, but I did buy some Halloween decorations.

My husband picked out the witch that’s on the door above. What a shocker that was. (Since I didn’t really decorate for Halloween this year, I just placed it on top of my cotton wreath.)

It’s only on VERY rare occasions that he ever wants to buy anything for the house, especially a decoration. Super rare. It almost never happens. LOL.

But again, he’s from Galicia, Spain, which has an affinity for/with witches.

He wanted the witch, and I wanted the witch’s shoes. I also bought a burlap hat and cloth pumpkin to make a vignette… Next year.

Later on, we had dinner with my son and his girlfriend at Bubba Gump’s before attending Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.

It’s such a fun restaurant!

The weather is still “warm to hot” in Florida, so I didn’t feel like carrying around a big camera. I just took a few pictures with my iphone.

The lines for the houses were long. Too long. I’d rather walk around and soak up the atmosphere of the scare zones.

We did a few rides like the Mummy, and Escape from Gringotts.  I could have stayed in Diagon Alley all night. I’ll be back for the Christmas atmosphere.

We HAD to get a Butter Beer at the Leaky Cauldron.

And that’s about it for my Halloween this year. Off to Dad’s….
