Hi Friends! I’ve been busy putting out all the Halloween Decorations. Since I de-cluttered, I decided to decorate upstairs this year. I’ll start with my bedroom.
The Master Bedroom
I gave Mary a trick or treat pumpkin.
New this year is a Steampunk pumpkin from Yankee Candle.
I framed a vintage looking post card, and also used my Blenko pumpkin.
I tucked this little elf into my Pottery Barn cubby.
Another new Steampunk candle. I couldn’t resist.
And this wonderful couple is new from Home Goods. The mummy pillow is from Pottery Barn.
I added a couple of bats to my book page wreath.
And finally, for my room, I had to do something to my fairy tale tree. I added two inexpensive masks and more bats to the tree portion, and wrapped some black gauze around the base. It looks a little less Christmasy now. (If you don’t follow me, I leave this fairy tale tree up in my room all year.)
Here’s my newest ornament, Harry Potter. I love him! I already have the next two picked out. I’m probably gonna need a much bigger tree soon. And then I’ll have to re-evaluate if I want to keep it out all year long.
My Son’s Bedroom
Let me start by saying that my son is 16. These decorations are for me; He could care less.
Oh, and I’m in the process of re-doing his room, so pictures of that will be coming sometime soon.
I placed this little owl on his bed, and a glass pumpkin on his TV stand.
Also on his TV stand is another little elf, a votive holder from Yankee Candle, and a little spider. It’s a spider, but it reminds me of the “soot sprites” from the movie, Spirited Away.
On his side table is a Boney Bunch candy dish from Yankee Candle. I wouldn’t normally let him have food in the bedroom, but I’m on a diet. It’s better this way. LOL!
After all these years, it feels nice to be able to bring the holidays upstairs. More Halloween is coming soon! Do you decorate your bedrooms for the Holidays?
