Ybor City in Tampa, held their 4th annual Christmas Parade, Snow on 7th, and I was there with bells on. I had to drag the boys. Sigh… But they love me, so they went.
It’s such a fun crowd, and the perfect backdrop for a parade.
Any gal with a “naughty” hat is awesome in my book. Lol! I spotted her hat hanging from her pocket, and thought it made the cutest picture!
I love the historical atmosphere in Ybor City. We don’t often come at night, as it’s not the safest place to be after dark. During the day it’s a wonderful place to walk around, have lunch and take a few pictures.
One of the best parts of a parade, in my opinion, is watching all the kids. It takes so little to impress them, and the joy and happiness that pour out of them is contagious. It makes me smile.
Tampa has a ton of High School’s and I’m not sure if every single High School Band is represented in the parade, but it sure seems like it. The Drum lines are my favorite!
Oh, to be young again. I wanna wear fairy wings to a parade!
The soapy snow was fun and beautiful, but not so great for your hair.
And, of course they had beads. You can’t have a parade in Tampa without the beads. I don’t think anyone would show up. Lol!
These gals had it goin’ on! Go, ladies!!
College Hunks Hauling Junk? Hmmm??? If it means having a couple of “hunks” come out to the house, I’m sure I can find some junk! I’m already a dirty ol’ lady! When I’m 95 and bedridden, I’ll be pressing my life alert button, just so the hot firefighters can come and give me mouth to mouth. Bahaha!
My son was feeling tortured. He just wanted to go get something to eat.
I love that kid!
“Beads! Over Here! Beads!”
Well, I had a great time! I loved the music, the snow and the overall atmosphere. Hopefully, there’s a lot more Christmas fun to come this year! I hope you guys are out and about enjoying the Season, too!
