Our Vacation to Exuma: Day One

Day one of our vacation was pretty laid back.

It was magical to wake up in such a beautiful place.

My sister-in-law was up early, and ready to cook breakfast for everyone.

As soon as everyone was ready, we hit the beach.

We went for a two mile swim around the island to look for sea treasures. The water was beautiful.

After a long day at the beach, we went into town for dinner.

While we were in town, I stopped over to see St. Andrew’s Church. It was built in 1802, and then restored in 1874 and again in 1885. I love old churches!

Of course I had to visit the old cemetery…

We ate at a small hotel called The Peace and Plenty. It was the most touristy place we visited while in the Exumas.

After dinner we went home and had a game of Pictionary. It was kids vs adults. We lost… Miserably.
