We stayed at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn for the Easter Holiday. The theme of the Boardwalk is based on Atlantic City, at the turn of the century. It’s got a whimsical, carnival-like theme.
My son didn’t appreciate me taking his picture on the giant chair in the lobby. Oh, well…
The Boardwalk Inn is a beautiful resort!
These chairs are just a “leetle bit” creepy, lol.
They even have a replica of Lucy the elephant from Margate, NJ.
I love this antique postcard display. Disney always has such good decorating ideas!
The rooms are very warm and cozy.
We had a water view, which gave us an awesome view of the Boardwalk.
You can watch a movie under the stars at night, play some carnival games, or be entertained by the many street performers.
And of course, you can do some shopping.
I purchased a few of the new Disney Pandora Charms. It was my Easter gift!
The Easter Bunny recruited the ladies at the shop, to prepare some Easter Baskets. They were happy to help him out.
We had dinner at the new Italian restaurant, Trattoria al Forno.
We all liked the dark and cozy atmosphere.
And the food? The portions were nice… But for the price tag, we gave it a C+. We probably won’t go back anytime soon. It was ok, but nothing special.
The Tiramisu was great!
After dinner, we retired to the room to enjoy the view.
It was spectacular at night. A great chance for a little people watching before bed.
