We haven’t been to the Animal Kingdom in a long time, so since it was a beautiful day, we headed out for some fun.
Since The Animal Kingdom is themed as Africa and Asia, I can only do this park when it’s chilly outside. The ambiance makes me feel even hotter, when it’s warm out.
We took the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
Chip and Dale were outside doing the Hokey Pokey with the kids.
And yes, I had to go into the petting zoo. I am still 5!
I love the sheep.
This goofy Donkey just wanted to keep rolling this log.
There’s a lot of poop to be found at the Animal Kingdom.
We checked out the animals on the Exploration Trail…
This is Cleetus. He’s an African Bullfrog. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but he’s HUGE! He’s awesome!
I know the meerkats are nasty, but they are adorable to watch. I could have stayed forever to watch them.
The boys were out… The bachelors. It was too cold for the little ones.
Of course, we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
After dinner, we headed in the other direction.
My son and I did Expedition Everest. I rode once, my son rode twice with my husband’s fast pass.
We did Dinosaur…
And last on the agenda was, It’s Tough To Be a Bug.
And on that note, The curtain has closed on our trip to the Animal Kingdom.
