I went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday to do some shopping, and pick up a few stocking stuffers. I was hoping it would put me into a more festive mood.
The Emporium windows have a Mickey’s Christmas Carol theme.
I wanted to get nice some pictures, but the windows were filthy. It was also a bad time of day, as it was very shadowy. I tried…
As usual, I wanted to buy everything. But… I was good. As much as I love Disney, I don’t want a house full of it. Plus, I don’t need more “stuff.”
The Dapper Dans were looking very festive.
They usually have garland running across the road on Main Street, but I was told they couldn’t put it up this year because of the height of the floats, in the Festival of Fantasy Parade. I definitely miss that extra touch.
I love the style of these retro ornaments! I was thinking about getting one, but they are very large and I don’t think I have room on my tree.
I rode the Jungle Cruise, which was converted to the Jingle Cruise for Christmas. They did a great job.
There are so many details that most people probably don’t even notice.
I was on the wrong side of the boat, but in the tunnel, they had a little elf pop out of a jar. Too cute!
And on the same side of the boat as the elf, Trader Sam was dressed as Santa!
It was a pleasant day. I got some Stocking Stuffers, and I “gifted” myself one of the new Disney Pandora Charms. I think I’m finished shopping. Now, I have to motivate myself to wrap and do some baking.
