Our vacation didn’t end with Disneyland. The next stop was The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. History and Politics are almost as fun as Disney!
“Are you better off than you were four years ago?” No… No comment.
Ronald Reagan used to collect quotes and one liners. When he heard something he liked, he would write it down and save it on an index card.
The Future President of the United States! A Mom can dream, right?
Reagan’s Oval Office.
Of course, there were jelly beans!
This is Reagan’s Air Force One…
This particular Air Force One served seven presidents from Nixon to George W. Bush.
President Obama’s Air Force One is a lot bigger and a lot more luxurious.
Marine One. It looked so small.
The views are gorgeous from the Library.
If I didn’t have the boys with me, I could have spent two days here. We went through in about 4 hours and just glanced at everything.
My son THINKS he’s funny.
They had an awesome baseball exhibit. I would have liked to have spent more time perusing that as well.
That’s an actual piece of the Berlin Wall.
Thanks President Reagan!
When I lived in California, I used to vote at the Reagan Library. When you’re casting your ballot at a Presidential Library, you really feel important. It somehow feels more meaningful and patriotic. Now? Now I vote in a shack. I won’t say how I feel about that.
We had to stop and get a bite at IN-N-OUT. I wish they would come to Florida.
Afterwards, we headed back to my sister’s house to enjoy my nephew.
Isn’t he the cutest little thing?
Aww… How sweet. A kiss for his big cousin. My son is gonna miss him. I’m already missing him.
These are the fur cousins, Guero and Lola!
Soon there will be another little rug rat!
