After we got back from EPCOT, the boys went swimming while I took a shower and relaxed. It was still raining, but they didn’t care. They were gonna get wet anyway.
Crazy Kids! After it stopped raining, I met them for a late night snack.
You can’t go to the Pop Century without having Tie-Dyed Cheesecake!
We spent day two at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. First up was Muppetvision 3D.
We did the Studio Backlot Tour.
I love the Sound of Music. I wish I could purchase replicas of these marionettes.
The boys wanted to wait on the super long line for Toy Story Mania. It was sooo stinkin’’ hot that I didn’t care. At least I wasn’t outside in the sun and the heat. I actually enjoy looking at the decorated queue.
We had to do at least one character meet and greet, so the kids decided on Wreck-It Ralph.
The last stop before lunch was The Great Movie Ride.
Lunch was at Mama Melrose.
Dessert was Ah-Mazing!
After lunch, I let them go off on their own again while I did some shopping. When it started to rain, I ducked into the Writer’s Stop.
I hunkered down with a Carrot Cake Cookie, A cup of coffee, and a good book. I was in seventh heaven.
While I was relaxing, the boys hit up the Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Star Tours, and who knows what else.
More crazy pictures!
When they were hungry, they called me so I could meet them and pay for their dinner. Of course… They wanted Pizza Planet. It’s their favorite.
After dinner, I told them I was done. Finished. Spent. I had enough heat, rain and fun for one weekend. They wanted one last hurrah. I headed back to the car. After about 2 1/2 hours they rolled up. I don’t know how or where they got that wheel chair from. I didn’t ask because I didn’t want to know. Sometimes it’s better not to know. Sigh…
I hope they had fun and made some great memories!
