Our Spring Vacation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort 2014 Part One

We joined my sister in law and the kids for a few days at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort. I wish it could have been longer, as four days just aren’t enough. The best part was spending time with family.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a gorgeous resort, themed to resemble an African Hunting Lodge. It’s very museum-like with tons of art and artifacts on display.

Don’t they all look thrilled? Lol!

We did the Concierge Level this time, so we enjoyed the evening turn down service. Our room was a standard with two queen beds.

The view from the Concierge Level rooms are an “Arusha View.” The Arusha View is considered the best viewing area of the animals. It’s a wider, more expansive view than a regular Savannah View Room.

You really do see a lot of animals from the room! I recommend you bring binoculars for a more up close look.

The kids had fun in the hot tub!

And the Pool!

It was nice sitting by the fire pit in the evening. I wish we had more time to spend just doing nothing. We were too busy rushing around doing this and that.
