Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

So, did you all have a wonderful holiday? Our Christmas was quiet and lazy.

Christmas 2013

We had a nice dinner on Christmas Eve, and then watched a few movies.

We still put cookies and milk out for Santa. We helped eat them, while we watched movies and snuggled. I bet you didn’t know that Santa likes cannolis, too. You should try it sometime. You might find some really nice presents under the tree.

My son woke up pretty early on Christmas Morning. You would think he was still 6! And he even combed his hair! Oh gosh… He really needs a haircut. Really bad…

Santa Claus  Paws always leaves the puppies some nice gifts. They got toys, new blankets, and Gubler got clothes.

My son is a gamer. Sigh… He was a pain in the ass this year. First, he wanted the new XBOX ONE, so we preordered it. Then he changed his mind and wanted the new PS4, so we cancelled the XBOX ONE preorder. Then he changed his mind and wanted the XBOX ONE again. Well, my husband almost blew a gasket. By the time he finally made up his mind, there were no more preorders left. We finally got the XBOX but it was nerve wracking. My son is lucky he got anything. Some of his friends got BOTH systems. Spoiled little shits! And you can’t just get the systems. You need chargers, and games and online memberships… When I was that age, I was happy if I got a few nice books, some perfume and a few sweaters. Maybe a CD or two. Whatever.

After we opened gifts, my husband spent a few hours helping my son set up his XBOX. The rest of the day was spent napping, and playing with our new “toys.”

Gubler got a new jacket and hat, for the rare times when it’s cold here. He is such a cutie!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! One more to go!
