Pottery Barn Cubby Wall with a dash of Steampunk

Here’s the latest version of my Pottery Barn Cubby Shelf.

Here’s a shot of that section of the wall.

I added another homage to Steampunk with this fun print.

Steampunk

I just had to incorporate an airship somehow.

The frame with the burlap matte on the top is from Pottery Barn, too.  I had this really kitschy picture that was taken at one of those touristy cavern places about 20 years ago, while on a trip with my family. I thought it would be fun to frame it up. It’s just not the type of picture you would expect to see framed and hung on the wall.

I keep changing and tweaking the knick knacks in the cubbies. But I really love the way it looks.

The letter B was an after thought. After I finished hanging the cubby (You can read about that disaster in an earlier post) and the other two pictures, it just didn’t look right. That space needed something. After holding up smaller size pictures, plates, etc., nothing looked right. I already had the letter B, so I tried that. It worked but still something was missing. I put on my Pottery Barn/Anthropologie thinking cap and added a piece of old sheet music underneath the B. It was perfect!

I still need new bedding.

I’m making progress.
