It was such a treat to go to Lambert Castle’s annual Holiday Boutique while visiting New Jersey a few weeks ago. It was fun going shopping with the girls instead of having to drag my husband out.
I had just as much fun admiring all the architecture, light fixtures and details of the castle, as I did shopping.
I just love the acorn and leaf relief on the walls. I’m sure there’s an official name for this type of wall treatment, I just don’t know what it is, lol!
It sure did put me in the Christmas Spirit.
I love these paper quilled ornaments!
It’s a good thing I didn’t go with a full wallet. I would have come home with an empty one.
I wish I could have unscrewed the door knobs and taken them home with me.
Even the door hinges were beautiful. Sigh…
Can you imagine living in a home like this? It must have been absolutely stunning when it was built, back in 1892.
Cindy, (above) from Cloches and Lavender, purchased some greenery to use in her Christmas stockings. You can see it on her blog. She’s very talented.
Now off to decorate my own house…
