Latest updates in the Master Bedroom

I’ve made a few small changes in the master bedroom over the past couple of months.

The Master Bedroom

I replaced the bedding after Gubler peed on it. I couldn’t afford to get what I really wanted, so I purchased a quilt, a sham and matching pillow cases at Home Goods for under $100.00.  It’s good enough for now.

The Master Bedroom

I also added the two pillows with the bullion fringe, and the Alice in Wonderland pillow that I purchased from EBAY. That pillow definitely sums it up!

The Master Bedroom

On my bookshelf/side table, I added a little dress form. The first of three…

The Master Bedroom

I love that I can use it as a pincushion to display MORE STUFF!

The Master Bedroom

I used the remainder of the Ballard wrapping paper and some other maps I had to cover the books here too.

The Master Bedroom

It definitely looks better than it did.

The Master Bedroom

Moving around the room…

The Master Bedroom

I don’t know if I added anything to my little wall cabinet?

The Master Bedroom

My nativity is still there as always.

The Master Bedroom

I want to get a frame for my fox picture. I have a doggie picture like that as well. Somewhere…

The Master Bedroom

I bought this big dress form so I could display my wedding veil.

The Master Bedroom

I’m considering bringing out the dress too. I’ll have to think about that one… That just might be overkill.

The Master Bedroom

There’s a few new additions to the chest…

The Master Bedroom

My husband bought me this little union case for Mother’s Day. I’ve been wanting one for the longest time and when I saw this one, with the little acorns on it, I had to have it.

The Master Bedroom

It did come with two daguerreotypes of young children, but I just wanted to use it as a frame. I didn’t remove the daguerreotypes, I just covered them up with these pictures of my Great Grandfather.

The Master Bedroom

I got this trophy a few months ago. I’d love to get a few more but unfortunately, the ones I like are out of my price range. I wish I didn’t have such expensive taste.

The Master Bedroom

And my dresser wall?

The Master Bedroom

I’m not sure if I showed you my antique black forest trophy. This one is a Chamois Goat.

The Master Bedroom

On my dresser is the last of my new dress forms. This one is from Pottery Barn. Hubby got it for me for Easter, or some other occasion that I convinced him he needed to buy a gift for.

The Master Bedroom

I also added a few tchotchkes here and there, that I unpacked and had nowhere else to display.

The Master Bedroom

Not sure if I ever showed you my tooth fairy boxes…

The Master Bedroom

I purchased the vintage holy water font below with all intentions of hanging it on the wall and actually using it, but… It needs to be cleaned, and I have no idea where I want to put it. So, here it sits. The boutonniere is from Dear Son’s First Holy Communion. I just can’t get rid of it.

The Master Bedroom

Stinky was updated too. I gave him a bow, as every teddy bear needs a bow. I also stuck a tie on him from one of my son’s little suits. It’s just so cute, I couldn’t bear to part with it… Ha Ha… “Bear to part with it…” Ahem, anyway…

The Master Bedroom

I gave him a tag too! To serve as a reminder that he’s not just some ratty old teddy bear, but a well loved part of the family.

The Master Bedroom

An “S” for Stinky, and there are pictures on both sides of the tag of my Dad playing with him and his rocking chair.

The Master Bedroom

On to the other side of the bed…

The Master Bedroom

This side of the room is still a mess… The end table is temporary until my TV comes off the matching bookshelf. It’s a wreck so I won’t even show you. Uggh!

The Master Bedroom

I guess you can tell I have a thing for Teddy Bears… I’ll never grow up!

The Master Bedroom

I guess that’s it for now in the bedroom. It’s not much, but it’s warm and cozy, and mine…

The Master Bedroom

Lots of other new things to show you! Hopefully, I’ll be organized enough to start blogging on a regular basis, and actually working on some projects and crafts. One can only hope…

Your master bedroom is so charming. There are so many unique and wonderful treasures in there. I love the bear. When my mom passed away, we were all given one of her teddy bears that she collected, and every time my girls travel, they take the bear with them.~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
