Inspiration from Ballard Designs

I’m lucky enough to live close to a Ballard Designs retail store. My husband is… Unlucky! Muahahaha!

I love these baskets but have always wondered how I would use them. I love the way they ‘accessorized’ them.

They had tons of covered books. How neat! I know that’s the latest trend but I really like their spin on it.

I can’t wait to make my own.

I have admired these bottles from the catalog for a long time. When I saw them in person, I realized how easy it would be to make them. I can’t believe how much they cost… Even on clearance!

So, I came home with a few goodies.

The pillow was on sale for $30.00! Dear Husband would drop dead before he let me spend 50 bucks on a pillow… So, I had to get it while the getting was good. It’s just a shame they were all out of the bee pillow. I’ll probably stop back in another week or so… Now it’s time to go cover some books!

I am so lucky to have a Ballard's so close to home… I'm like a kid in a candy shop! I visited your post and I'm so excited to make my own bottles! I love the way you used the paint pens… I was thinking of doing an iron on transfer, but your way is more practical for me! And now… I have an excuse to indulge in a glass of wine… lol! Karen

Hi Karen! Thanks for posting those great pictures of your trip to Ballards. I get their catalog (and shamelessly tear out ideas to copy someday). The next time I go to Atlanta, I want to put a shopping trip to a Ballard store on my "to do" list. I did a blog post a few months back on covering a bottle with burlap…I will try to send it to you. I did a "Linky" follow to you today.

Leave a comment. I'd love to know what you're thinking!
