Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cookie Monster

My favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie will always be the Original Tollhouse Recipe, but my Husband and Son like soft chewy cookies. So… I found this recipe at It’s great for those on a diet as the cookie dough isn’t very palatable. (I usually like the raw dough just as much as the cooked cookie… Maybe even more so.)

I make these all the time, but I have never addes the baking powder. In fact I am having some with my coffee right now!I have used chocolate cake mix with chocolate chips , and lemon cake mix with crushed lemon drops, and white cake mix with toffee chips-you could try endless varieties. We always called these prison cookies-our church had a prison ministry and this makes a lot of cookies quickly when we needed them!
