Mother’s Day

I had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Dear Husband, Son and puppies bought me flowers.

Thank you!

I just wish I was better at arranging them.

I'm not the best floral arranger...

Instead of dinner, we had brunch at the Island Way Grill in Clearwater. It was a real nice buffet. The food was good, the weather was nice… The wait was very long… We’ll definitely be back, just not on a holiday.

Breakfast

My Aunt and Cousin were down from New Jersey for the communion, so they joined us.

Tarpon Springs

Later in the day, we headed over to The Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs for ice cream.

Tarpon Springs is known as the Sponge Capital. It’s a Greek Village full of restaurants, bakeries, museums, and tons of little shops. They even have a very small “Mom and Pop Style” aquarium. It’s a nice way to spend the afternoon.

My Aunt, who can never leave well enough alone, walked away with a recipe for Baklava after chatting up the Greek hottie! Lol! She is too much. It was a fun day though. It was nice to spend it with family Smile
