Not much of a Valentine’s Day

So much for Valentine’s Day. Red heart It wasn’t very eventful. I don’t have too many Valentine’s Day decorations. Just a few odds and ends. This collage is a permanent display in my computer room.

And this little mouse is in my entertainment center. He never gets put away either.

Valentine's Day

We’ve all been sick, so there hasn’t been much to celebrate.  You’d have thought I asked Dear Son to cut off one of his ears when I told him it was time to write out the cards for school. He just couldn’t be bothered… Especially since he wasn’t feeling good.

Valentine's Day

I like to buy the nice vintage style Valentine’s Day Cards to give out to the girls in his class, (The boys just get the regular cheapy ones.) I either special order them from The Carriage House, or sometimes you can find them at Home Goods if you’re lucky.

Valentine's Day

This was probably the last year for us to give them out, as Dear Son will be in middle school next year. Sad smile In addition to the cards, I just stuck a packet of Fun Dip to each one.

I wanted to do goody bags, but Dear Husband has to give out goody bags at work to his team, and it was too dang expensive to do both. In the end, the best goody bag he received had 3 Hershey’s Kisses in it, so I’m glad I didn’t spend the money.  When we lived in California, most of the parents probably spent at least three bucks per goody bag, every holiday. I’m glad to be away from that extravagance/competitiveness.

Valentine's Day

So that’s his haul. It is what it is…

My Hubby brought some balloons home from work and the doggies are going crazy over them.

Liesl apparently views them as some sort of threat. Open-mouthed smile Other than that, the puppies are doing well and adjusting.

Valentine's Day

They play so nice together and Gubler is just too darn cute!

Valentine's Day

I am patiently waiting for the weekend to come so I can go shopping for a sectional. I think I’ve got one picked out, if it’s still there. I just have to measure it to make sure it fits. I am sooo tired of living with this…

Valentine's Day

And this…

Valentine's Day

I just don’t know how I’ll manage to keep the two of them off. Thinking smile Oh well, I’ve had worse problems. Now that I’m up and about, I’d better get hopping. Maybe I’ll put the Valentine’s Day stuff away and get the St. Patrick’s Day decorations out. Hmmm????

Thank you! I've been thinking about looking into the spray. I wonder???? Oh, I never let a "few" hairs bother me either… It's just that Liesl sheds more than a "few" every day, LOL!!!
