This is my version of a vignette that I saw in an old issue of Mary Englebreit’s Home Companion magazine. I really miss that magazine.
This is “Not Me.” Not Me usually lives in my bedroom, but I let her out for Christmas. She is a naughty Faerie. She’s stolen the last piece of chocolate from the box. When my husband asked who had eaten it, I told him, “Not Me!”
Not me is always stirring things up. She turns on all the lights in the house and takes things without asking. She spills on the carpet, breaks things, and the worst is when she loses the remote control to the television. She’s quite the trouble maker. Still… It wouldn’t be the same without having her around.
Not Me and her Faerie friend are doing a lovely job decorating the Christmas Tree.
I made the garland from sheet music that I found at The Graphics Fairy.
